The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in a village in Changning County, according to the local emergency management bureau. An investigation into the accident revealed that a villager was hosting a courtyard banquet at home, and excessive water accumulated on a temporary rain shelter caused the wall that anchored the shelter to collapse, said the bureau.
